Ran out of time to work on them and was forced to work on other projects that took priority. It's still a planned project, and we'll finish them as soon as we get the other projects completed.

Does anyone make a significantly brighter brake/turn signal bulb that could be used with this (or at all for that matter)?

If you guys want. My friends mom works at an art store and has a machine that can cut perfect circles. I did my own 99 tail light conversion and it took approx 35 minutes.

The long process is heating the clue on the lights so you can separate the outer from the inner =o

You need a heat gun to do this quickly.

This is the process if any of you would like to do it your self:

Items needed:

Contact paper cut in perfect circles, any art store can do it.

Flat black spray paint.

A heat gun/good heat source

Separate the taill ights,

Use the little itty bitty squares on the lights them selves, to measure the placement of the circles.

Put the circles where you would like, spray over the red and orange part with the flat black spray paint. I did 4 over coats.

Once spray paint drys, get a knife or something you can cut the contact paper (which has been sprayed over) and peel it off carefully.

Wala, heat the glue back up, press the lights back together and your done.

Two hours of work and yo u have a 99 taillight conversion.

I can do afew conversions this Halloween if anyone wants.

Greg

F0RSAKEN - I'm sure most auto parts stores have something that is brighter, even if it's just the APC brand (which I've discovered has really awesome lights) or something similar.

7-sins - Yep, I'm still at it. It's hard to stop at something you've perfected. I really do still enjoy doing the lights to help others out, which is why in over 3 years I haven't raised the price ever.

Well, looks like we're in the path of another hurricane. It's already getting pretty windy here, gusts probably around 40-50mph or more, with 100+mph winds expected in the next half hour or so, so I doubt I'll have power for much longer. If anyone is wanting a conversion from me, send me an email rx7even@yahoo.com and I'll get back to you as soon as the power and phones are back. I'll also hop on and update this post then too. See you guys!

Ryan

Back with power and phone! There's a lot of damage all around here, but we made out ok considering. We got the eye wall on this one, and had sustained winds over 100mph. Anyway, back in business!

Zyon13b - It's still on the backburner. We're just WAY too busy to mess with them right now. The projects we have coming up though are VERY interesting to say the least. I'm very excited about them (4 rotor.......)!
