When I get my seats redone I am definately not getting leather again. To slik, hot, and it will eventually crack again.

My stock 93 faux suede seats are pretty faded. When I have my seats redone, its getting done in the same type of faux suede. I think my the r1 suede seats are the best fabric compared to cloth and leather. Leather isn't a bad choice, but dealing with the hot *** leather, scratches that show up in leather, ect aren't worth dealing with it. IMHO

I literally just had this done to my seats only in Recaro instead of Bride. As soon as I get my car back from upholstery (suppose to be tuesday by the end of the day) I will post pics to better give you an idea if you'd like. I went with Onyx colored faux suede which I might add is super soft. My a-pillars and headliner are covered with the same stuff.

I went the cheap way and I purchased some covers that are "synthetiic leather" and if your car is not garaged and have no tint on the front they will fade really fast.

A member here, "Salva" does really amazing covers with real leather.
I'm not sure what hes starting point is nowadays but I was quoted a little under 800 for both seats.

If I were to do it again, I would probably spend a little more $ for the real leather or fabric like the ones in the Base RX7.
