I just had a quick question, Did any fd's in the us come with bronze glass and how would you be able to find out if your car was one of them. My glass looks like it has a hint of bronze and me and my friend are trying to settle a bet.

To my knowledge none came with bronze glass, my guess is the previous owner applied a bronze tint.

 

Certain model/color combinations had bronze tint other has gray tint. There was a thread a long time ago about it. Might be able to find it by searching.

 

Mine def came from the factory with bronze tint in the glass; it is a '93 BB base model. The glass shop that replaced the windshield confirmed this and was able to obtain the correct glass.

 

If its true then the parts catalogs should show the numbers. No telling what dealers did!

 

I was finding places for a new windsheild and i had the option of getting bronze.
