RX7 as daily driver..

Am getting a new car to take to college and the RX7 has been a dream car for me for a while...

Would run completely stock, but could do reliability mods i've read about here.

Obviously this car isn't logical and whatnot, but I really like it.

How feasible would it be to drive one every day? Light use too.

My opinion is if you pick the right one, driving it daily isn't much problem. You have to be really patient with this car of course (warm ups and cool downs). I drive mine about four times a week and I haven't had any problem yet.

Light use and good maintainance you're going to be fine. While it isn't the best car for the job, it certainly can handle it!

Oy. Get a Civic. You will probably have an extra $200-$300 per month to spend because of it, and that will buy you a lot of fun in college.

There are more threads than I can count on this topic....please spend some time researching. IMO, it's a dumb choice for a daily driven car in college.
