RX7.com Greddy custom-built race exhaust

Does anyone on this site run this exhaust? I have a 3" DP, going to buy a Power FC, and this is the main exhaust I'm considering. Is 3.75" piping too big, or does it even make a difference since the DP is 3"? The midpipe is silenced, are the noise levels going to be way too high for the street? And last but not least, should I install an AVC-R before the MP/CB combo? Thanks again guys.

The ultimate exhaust, specifically built for the rigors of drag racing, featured on our own race car. Built to our specs by GReddy, this exhaust features 3.75" inside diameter construction throughout, a V-band flange for quick changes, standard 3" 2-bolt flange on the inlet side to ensure perfect fitment with any quality downpipe, and the highest flow of any exhaust system. This system also comes with a silenced mid-pipe with no catalytic converter. Note: this system is for off-road/racing use only.

RP Race-only Exhaust by GReddy

Good advice lol! Although I emailed once, and all I got back was "it's only significantly louder when you accelerate." Real helpful haha. I'll call them Monday when they open and ask for one of those guys. Thanks again Rich, you've been helpful to a new FD owner :-)

I run the muffler above it the spec race one with a 3 inch mid pipe and my car is pretty loud. in the garage at idle you can hear it in the house and shakes pics on the wall a little. People i've raced said it made their ears itch lol. but it's not that bad in the car and it flows. I'd recommend it, I've had it almost 3 years now and no rust or problems

I am running that exhaust with a 3" DP on the stock twins and it sounds really good. Steve Kan runs the same exhaust on his red car. It's very deep but when you get on the gas it gets real loud. I was making a few pulls over a mile away from my parents house to see how the car was acting; Standing outside my dad said he could hear me each time i got on the gas hard, lol. I don't drive the car very much so I've never got pulled over for the exhaust being too loud or anything though.

One other thing, I do get a lot of boost creep past 16psi so the wastegate will need to be ported if you plan on running that high on the stock twins.
