Well first off i have 3 jobs and i right now make about 1400 a month while going to school. So basically if you work hard you get what you deserve!

My redline is 12,000, thats why it sounds so high.

The reason the rev was all over the place was because i was slipping on the wet pavement! It was slick out as you can seen in the video!

Any other QuestionS?

Atkins lied 12k, tell me what other mods did they do for that redline, I'm curious we'll see if they did what they said, or better if you know what they did. There is no need for 12K redline on a streetport.

Read above, they said that the redline is choosible. He recommends a 1100 redline but says it can go up higher if wanted!

Sounds to me like one of two things, either they fed you bull which you ate, or you don't know what you payed for.Wait thats the same thing. Nowhere up above does it say your "redline is choosable", all it says is "thats what they told me", If it were me I'd do two things find out exactly what was done in my motor, or get them to put it in writing. I wouldn't trust anyone telling me my redline is choosable, again there is no reason for a 12k redline on a streetport. I know I sound like a dick, I'm cool with it. What I'm not cool with is misinformation, leading people to believe something is OK when it more than likely isn't.

So lets try this again what mods were done for the motor to spin at that rpm? What maps did you get ahold of to support for fuel and ignition at that rpm? Do you know if the fuel system or ignition system you have can support that (25lbs) that you run?
If I'm wrong I'll be man enough to admit it. If I'm right will you?

yea in one part of the vid it sounded like my old accord when the transmission wasn't shifting. It would go to like 7500 rpm and start making backfiring noises, the redline was only 6500 i believe.

The mods of the car and the engine are above.

Also the part where it sounds like i was miising a gear, it was when i shifted from 1st to 2nd and the tires slipped and i shifted to the side.

I will also admit when im wrong.

As you have no problem admitting when your wrong you might want to admit that you drive like an idiot and you may of spent your hard earned money on a great car but it wont stay like that for long if you drive and treat it the way you do.

Congrats on having such a badass car.
that was a fun video. Reminded me of that rush you get from driving an FD.

although i am kindof scared for you,
not so much for your safety(your donuts werent too out of control, and at least you were only going STRAIGHT in that weather, thank goodness!!)

but I just dont want you to get jacked by all these loans your making. Sounds like tens of thousands of dollars.
dont mean to hate, but ur parents are out of their gourd

Now go get that 80k a year job so you can pay that **** off boyo!!!!

and I have a feeling you will too

I never said you cant drive I said you were driving like and idiot. All Im saying is that your 17 and you have a very very powerful car. Just keep that sort of driving for the track. Actually I like your car and it would be great if you keep it in good condition, but Im afraid to say if thats how you always drive in those conditions theres a chance it wont.

P.S. Yes in those sort of conditions I do PUTT PUTT around and drive like Miss daisy.

When you get older you will realize that saving money for more important stuff should come first. How much are you paying in interest? Personally, I never buy anything that I can not pay off right away so I am not spending my hard earned money on increasing the wealth of banks and credit card companies.

Don't get me wrong, I really like your car and would love to have all that stuff on mine but at what price??? I think I will keep some of my money to for that house I hope to get in the near future.

A do what?!?! a 1100 redline? I can't start rolling without going higher than that I seriously hope you are joking about a 12k rpm redline without race fuel, ignition amps, bridge or J port, etc.

Racing is meant for the track. Keep your crazy driving habits either there or an empty parking lot.
