Maddslow: You're in Poughkeepsie, have an FD? I have a set of stock rims at my parents place in Montgomery with Victoracers on them. Need a second set of stock rims? Looking to sell them locally. I live in Highland now, just across the river
Youre right, lock this thread... ban this guy for researching... PheonixDownVII... I have a question for you.

Why do you care about how what I post, how I post it or where? As long as it is site related I am doing nothing wrong so how about you go play thread **** somewhere else. And if that gets old, go down town wherever you live with a pad of paper and a sharpie and manually write tickets for people that are parked in a place other than where PheonixDownVII thinks they should be parked.

Last time I checked this was a free country, and freedom of speech was my right in whatever form. And I think I should be afforded that without a hassle from YOU, especially considering I am one of the Soldiers that lays his life on the line to DEFEND THE RIGHTS OF AMERICANS LIKE YOURSELF.

Kthxbye.

If you are in the military dude, I respect you and what you are doing. I was in back in the day. I understand the crap that you have to put up with that the civilians will never understand.

I had my first RX-7 in which was an FC back in my military days. It has been a while but my heart was always in the rotary. I just got my FD a few months ago and I could not be happier.

Good luck in your search and whatever you decide, take care of it and you'll be happy!

You must have come back with a decent chunk of change... I wonder if I will ever see that place especially with things winding down, the election and the fact that I am in a medical unit that has not had anyone snatched up to deploy besides the doctors and only for 3 months. I am up for E-5 on the enlisted side but I am trying to finish this semester strong to get into a Penn State branch campus and become an SMP Cadet... then I really won't be going anywhere for a while. It's bittersweet I think, I have contemplated volunteering and spoken to people that have been... even a guy at a dealership who was cav and recieved a bronze star. Most say it isn't worth it...

It is good to stick up for your self, but maybe go about it a little lighter. Remember this is a message board with people who know what they are doing as well as people who think they know it all.

I looked at the thread posted at the Supera site and it seems like they all are after you for some reason.

I as well as other understand that you are looking for a cool car to have. No problem there, just make sure that you read FAQ as well as other post that talk about problems and mods of these cars.

People are touchy to outsiders and they do not want people to give their group a bad name or feel as if someone is wasting time. I for one think that you need to ask questions and do a lot of reading. Also spend time looking at members bios and well known members post. Do not just use this forum for you info talk with shops and read other thing on the net.

As far as a Supera, you will spend more for one out right. Those cars seem to hold high value. I think it may have to doe with the fact that the FD got a bad wrap from people buy the car when it first came out and they did not take care of them as they need to be. The FD is a high mantanice car. As far as pricing for modding a Supera I have no idea if it is the same, more or less then a FD. I do know that Mazda is proud of the FD and part pricing shows this.

Good luck with you research.

I am up for E-5 myself should be getting "pinned on" in a month or 2. Iraq is a toss up I was making nothing here back in the us at the time and I was a E-3. I am a 63B wheeled vechicle mechanic. Over there I was getting about $3100-$3300 tax free and then I got my air assault wings there so it jumped to about $3300-$3700. over seas taxes are taken out but then 2 days later put back idk why they did it that way but that is how it was done for my unit which as was a air medivac unit.

Air Assault wings over there? How did you do that?

I am going to be a contracted Cadet hopefully by the fall. I am going over to the dark side.
