Whenever I turn on the A/C in my car the car will lug. Anybody come across this before? The feeling of it lugging is similar to accelerating and braking shortly after continuously. Could it be the compressor clutch or something like that?

I've heard of a car stalling after turning the A/C on and the fix was a recharge..
