running water noise?

I just recently noticed that whenever I accelerate I hear this noise that sounds like running water (for a month now)..

background: I did a complete AC removal, and left the heater core in place... and was wondering if i have coolant rushing through and filling up that black box under the glove? My carpets aren't wet, so I have no clue whats going on... My coolant strangely went low the other day. also someone was riding my clutch during a test drive along with a smog tech not knowing how to properly get 1st going..... so i can't really check if it spools to the max cause the clutch just slips if i even go near boost... i have managed to see .5bar with the fishy smell of clutch and no acceleration once though, despite it use to going up to 1.0bar

coolant seal went bad?
turbo went bad?
heater core leak?

input please, thank you in advance.

Generally it is a sign of air in the system or a coolant seal going bad.
