I just recently started having an issue with my parking lights randomly turning on. Combination switch is off, headlight pop up switch is down. The won't turn on initially but after a ~a minute or so. Key in key out. I can then turn the switch on and off again and they will go off for a period of time before coming back on. Any thoughts of what could be wrong? I know the TNS relay could be the culprit but its wierd how it only occurs after a period of time being off (alarm related?).

 

sounds like a faulty security CPU issue; i'd replace the TNS relay anyways, easy fix if it's that

take out the alarm ECU and see what happens

 

Pulled out the relay it was full of water sprayed it out and it hasn't happened again.
