Whats the average mileage for the seals to wear in??

I have around 100 miles on the engine, the car is getting easier to start but its not building up compression as quick as I hoped.

I'm running premix minus the OMP and think this ISNT helping. I'm running the recomended primix.

Running RA seals with solid corner seals and new rotor housings with a half bridge.

 

what is your compression?
? is your vacuum reading?

 

you should have some good compression by now. what are you pulling for numbers? i remember talking to you once about milling a second groove for two apex springs... did you do this?

 

I have seen engines go 1000 miles before full compression and easy starting .I have seen a few start well within less than 100 miles .

 

Compression is only 5bar (all 6 rotor faces) at the moment when cold.

Idle is at 2K but cant remember off hand what vacuum it was pulling.

Think I'll put another 100 miles on it and go from there.

Nashman: yes I did mill the seals for the 2 apex springs.
