rpm limiter?

hi, could anyone comfirm what happens when you over rev your car. what does the rev limiter do, will it cut fuel? only buzz? go in to limp mode. any help would be great.

revs

mine goes into limp mode and beeps....

repeated over revving and you get permanant limp mode...your apex sheals will ***** themselves out your tailpipe.

you need strong apex seals if you want to handle high rpm abuse

not true. stock 2mm seals will take just as much abuse as 3mm piece units. its all about tuning. do a search on this. the 2mm vs. 3mm debate is just as big as the SMIC vs. FMIC and synthetic vs. non-synthetic debate.
