when i start my 93 fd, it doesn't wanna start, if i turn the key it wont start until i give it a little gas, but i have to wait for the right moment, if i do it to early, the car doesn't start and i have to push start it. this only happens when she is warmed up, cold start works everytime. i was thinking maybe my injectors are clogged. anyone know where to get a dp gasket, if there is one, i think i blew mine. weird noise like an exhaust leak coming from under the car when i hit 3k

Any of the major rotary shops should have a gasket for the dp. As far as the starting issues give us some compression test results and we can go from there.

and it has 100k miles no rebuild.

 

I had very similar problems with hot starts, that later turned into cold start problems, and then ended up being no start problems. Turned out that it was time for a new engine. Not sure what to make of the noise, what does it sound like? Does it happen right at 3k every time, under any load condition?

just fixed it, finally it was starting to scare me, it was so simple, im a dumbass for not checking it. it was the block off piece on the airpump return, i must have blown the top of it off when running. so i drove the car like 10 miles, shut it off, and turned it back on, started right up. the exhaust sound went away to, it was just hot air rushing out of the airpump makin like a weazing sound.
