Regarding the sound to be honest now i cant even remember if it was a pop or a bang but the car is 100% stock standard ( stock turbos and ecu also ) I have no boost controller whatsoever

Can the car really get detonation from over boosting even when the car is bog standard ?

I have disconnected the battery for half an hour but its still doing it

This is the link of the cold start this morning when I had to move the car to the side. The car barely able to go up the hill and I had to ride the clutch hard to get it move

Pretty hard to tell much from that youtube without a "before". Sounds like an FD idling.

Note that compression tests can show varied results on the same engine from time to time. The prior test may have been enhanced by squirting some oil into the housing before doing the test. Likewise, the condition for each of the apexes may vary from time to time, making results vary..

Check to see if the gasket between the top of the y-pipe and the cross over pipe has failed. Leaking there can be quite noisey.

Share some engine bay pics, if you like,

Here is my engine bay from the auction pictures in Japan. It is pretty much stock except the blue vacuum line. (Version 5 car.) You can see the triangle shaped vacuum chamber ahead of the UIM and the vacuum hoses attached. The upper left (as you face it) of the vacuum chamber points to the top of the y-pipe. The green double solenoids sits immediately behind the top left (as you face it) corner of the vacuum chamber.. The MAP sensor is at a 45 degree angle across the UIM attached to the firewall. The vacuum assist to the power brakes attaches to the upper left (as you face it) of the UIM. Check all the other vacuum hose attachments that you can easily see. While you are there check the UIM to firewall ground. It is critical.

The solenoid box with maybe 7 solenoids in it resides under the UIM. It has many vacuum hoses attached. The plastic nipples for those hoses can break off as well. Probably better to go for the smoke test before removing the UIM and risking breaking other things..

Hate to break it to you but that engine is broken. Common failure for these when the fuel pump is bad and/or fuel filter is blocked.
Nobody checks them on a dyno when they purchase the car to make sure everything is good before you start thrashing.

If the pessimistic (some might say realistic) view is correct, even better reason not to run the motor and further damage the internals that could be the basis of a rebuild.
