I have driven my single turbo rx from tucson to vegas twice and had no problem. given it is only about 1000 miles round trip but i have had the car on the road about a month now. I wont hesatae to drive it 1000+miles. But I also DD my FD too.

Suggestion: While I am all for driving the FD no matter how far or no matter how long, how about checking out Amtrac.

They offer a service where you drive your FD onto the train where it is stored. You then get to a passenger car - enjoy about 2-3 days of relaxing as the train heads to Florida. Once there depart with your car - raise hell etc....

Then back on the train and head home or drive her home.

You had fun driving the car, got lots of thumbs up, drank plenty of beer, made lots of contact with the fairer sex, and didn't put a ton of milage on your baby!!
