RoadAmerica - October Video

Me again with another video from a previous RA event. This is a fun one, kinda long and a big file (50 meg) but worth it :-)

Its a split screen of me and my track dawg Bruce (drives a cobra R) having some fun terrorizing the field and swapping spots ;-)

Thumbs up

It looks like you finally hooked up a microphone to the camera....sounds way better than all the air noise in your previous videos. I used to mount my computer mic in the engine compartment with a few papertowels wrapped around it and taped up....it sounded real cool when I was up in the mountains with my front bumper mount cam.

What kind of tires do you run, and what is your alignment specs?? i just aligned my car today because I am doing my first track day at Little Talladega GP this Fri.

Mine is -1.2 R camber +.12 ea. R toe

+5.3 F caster

-1.8 F camber +.20 total F toe

I drive the car on the street regularly and the only adjustment out of spec is the Front camber.

Nice videos BTW! =)

Those two engines sound awesome together. Stang for the bass, turbos, rotors and blow off for treble.

Those two engines sound awesome together. The 'stang is like John Paul Jones on bass, while the turbo and rotors are Jimmy Page on lead guitar.

nope, did not hook up a mic, just set the electronic windscreen and taped a piece of foam over the cam mic.

I used to run kumo ecstas (285/30/18) and now run used dunlop gt race tires....a bit narrower but more grip.

alignment is somthing like -1.5 front and -.5 rear., rest is realtivly neutral

Man I wish Barbers would do open track days, instead of making you pay $22000 to rent the track

when you was following the gt3, were your tires starting to give out or were you just running a little hot into the turns?
