Thumbs up ROAD RACERS gurus, Making a light weight contender.Ideas?

Hi all .

This is a very important issue.
Saving some pounds from our car means faster aceleration, turns and braking. We all love light weight products.
5.5lbs carbon fiber seats will save about 40lbs, theres also more afordable 17lbs fiberglass seats.

Any coments, sugestions.........

Pedro.

If this car is strictly going to be a track car, I can tell you what to take out to get the car down to 2400 without driver, keeping all of the stock glass and interior!

Mantis moved his site. Some of it ended up on another server (can't find the link offhand right now) but most the old content it is gone. You might try searching one of those Internet Archive sites.

It was http://www.mantissaracing.com until recently.. Network Solutions says the site expired Aug 29, 04 and is now locked.

Yep, that was it. It was still missing some of the old content (when it was up).
