Rising Rate Fuel P.R. Question

Trying to finalize getting my car fully back in street form, we're having a problem with the Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator I got.

At idle it seems fine but it shoots up to 6 BAR which can't possibly be right. Any ideas on what the issue may be?

I had someone else install it and he just relayed the problem to me so I figured I'd check out everyone's ideas here. I'm going by there tomorrow to test drive it with him.

Thanks. My mods are in my signatures. All mods were done over the last 5 weeks together so I can't give any before and after variables except before all mods and after all mods.

IS this one of the FPR's that increase the Pressure on a non linear scale ?!?

If its just a linear increase with Pressure jobs like the Aeromotive ones, it could be you have a kink or obstruction in the vaccum feed to it or it hasn't been installed into the correct line, not too higher possiblity but worth checking.

failing that i would say the regulator is faulty problably sticking !

Hope that helps, and you get it sorted pal,

,
Yeah, I think so. It's designed to factor in increased turbo pressure. I'm sure it's nonlinear.

I'm going to head over there this afternoon. He's rechecking it now.

Man, I really want this baby back. I've driven it so long without any mods and I pretty much threw everything I could at it short of the turbos (for some reason I can't bring myself yet to ditch twin turbos, it's almost like swapping out the rotary....I'm sure I'll get over this in a year). I gotta get this car complete before the new Viper goes on sale...
