Here's my story. Mid July I agreed to purchase two speakers from Voilator (Jay Yan, lude_boy8@hotmail.com). Paid via Paypal. He said his car was still in the shop and he'd ship them asap. He said they shipped on 8/12. Last contact was 8/23. No response since. I could be wrong. But, since I just contacted Paypal and was told that all they can investigate are claims newer than 30 days. I think he bought his time until the 30 days was up. I COULD be wrong, and will humbly apologize if they show up tomorrow. BUT, he said it was shipped via air, and there was no shipping info, or tracking #. As I said, if I'm wrong, I will apologize, but if not, I don't want to see anyone else ripped off.

 

GOD DAMNIT!!!!! I JUST SENT THIS GUY $1400 FOR HIS POWER FC AND PWR RADIATOR!!!

 

As I said, I could be wrong, I actually hope I am wrong. And I will apologize profusely if that is the case. But, he sent me no shipping info, air should be 2-3 days, and I know I gave him all the corrent info. Hopefully it is just a shipping error, but hard to imagine after 2 full weeks.

I personally will not buy anything I can not get a picture of and usually want a tracking number soon after I send the cash.

Although it takes a little longer, www.escrow.com is a very safe way to do business. If you don't receive the merchandise they send you your money back.

Let's give it a few days. I've already agreed to buy new speakers from a trusted scource. As I said, hopefully they will arive in the mail, but I still doubt it. But, shutting down his hotmail account would be fun......j/k
I trusted him b/c he had like 3 or 4 hundred posts, but guess that's no indication.

What kind of speakers? If they were doors I have a set of Polk's you can have, just pay shipping. I hate to see people get ripped off.

Thanks, but it's the Bose door speakers and they're 1ohm speakers. I actually have a set of Oz speakers that will fit, but they're 4 ohms. Getting 1 speaker for $25, incl. shipping. Thanks for the offer though. Very cool of ya!!

 

I purchased some items from forum member "Pumped" through his friend's paypal of "lude boy 8". It took over a month for the items to arrive. I would give the guy more time. The problem is Canada Post sucks serious ***.

Give this guy the benefit of the doubt for a while longer.

most of the time its received on time.

 

the thing that sucks is that the bank has to guarantee the funds for the amount. i asked if they could stop payment or hold it due to the circumstances...nope. maybe the usps express mail service people on the other side of the fence up there can hold it until he brings the items and ships them. ship stuff - release check. sounds so simple

 

whats with all these ******* ripping people off, i wish people would made a video of what would happen if you got cought by som one other than the cops. when i think of that, tazer and nuts come to mind

man, i will apologize til the end of time if everything works out - even send xmas cards every year with a humble apology with best wishes for he and his family. all i want for xmas is my power fc and pwr radiator. man, if this is a total loss, i'll sell my car for payoff + $1,500 (for the mods/parts i have that are in the hatch), buy a **** load of supplies and go live in the woods. screw mazdas, the internet, bills and everyone.

seems like a lot of people in the 7 community sell stuff w/o providing a tracking number or returning calls. I've had problems locally, even... Just be patient, spoolin; hopefully one of the CA guys will get in touch with their buddy Violator and get this straightened out for ya.

If it's any consolation, I ordered a gauge pod from the RX7 Store on June (or july, I forget... I think June, though) 26th.. limited updates from them, and never a tracking number... But I still feel like waiting for some reason...

 

is paypal not good to use or what. As long as its past 30 days they wont do anything. SO what if you do get riped off. What will paypal do for ya. Thanks Marc
