Right Xhaust and ecu

I am currently rebuilding my stock '93 Fd and i'm trying to make it a bit more reliable. Under hood temperatures and exhaust are now my current concern since i think these were the main causes of my engine break down.

I manage to get hold of an hks down pipe and a pan speed cpu and some other items . However before installing these i would like some opinions from you people out there who are more acquainted to building these engines.

When i bought the ecu i was told that this is set up for an aftermarket down pipe and a straight catalyst . Would there be any bad effects on the engine if i installed a striaght pipe instead of a catlaytic converter. What other effects might be expected .

Hope fully my final setup would be

an arc intake air box
stock twin turbos
Stock intercooler
hks down pipe (wrapped with termo-tec heat sheild)
straight catalytic converter / straight mid pipe
3" jasma apex back box (super megaphone)

Do you think the ecu can handle this setup . If not what could be done to it
for appropriate tuning?
