Ride height w/Koni yellows (adj) and Eibachs?

Anybody have this setup? How bout pics? Just wondering how much lower a Koni equipped FD will be. I have Eibach pros... But want a little more agressive stance. Will the Koni's do it? I searched, but couldn't QUITE get what I'm looking for. Thanks!

I have the Eibach's... and the springs alone are not quite enough. Adding in the Koni's are a perfect drop height.

The Koni's have 3 different perch heights. I have them on the lowest setting. And they do drop the car nicely...without being too low.

Sorry no pics... Don't know how?

Bad thing is... when drag racing I cannot use the drag radials I use to use last year, the car is too low now...

I have the koni's with the eibachs. I have the koni's set on their lowest setting and with the already 1 inch drop from the eibachs its pretty low. Not too low, but can be hard to go over bigger than normal speed bumps. Very good combo in my opionion, good responce and handling. Heres a pic.

Koni adjustables, Eibach springs w/GC kit + Yokohama tires. Set to about medium in the GC range.

Eibach Pro kit with Bilsteins and Stillen Cadmium-plated rotors. 1"drop and rides like a buck-board. 285/35's rear and 245 Michelins in front.

Here is a pic of my car at the Evolution Driving school. It is Konis yellow on the lowest setting with Eibach springs. The car is in a turn so the slight body roll makes it look lower then it is. This pic is with the stock wheels. Ill post another with my 17X9s.

Here's mine from a few angles when they were first installed (pic quality sucks). They have lowered about 1/2 inch since then.

I must say that koni's and eibach's are an IDEAL combination for spirited street driving .
EDIT: The Konis are on their highest settings and the wheels are 17s.

for street driving, i don't know how you can put them on the lowest setting. I had them in the middle on my last car and it was OK. Some driveways were a pain in the ***, but not bad. i was actually going to set them on the highest perch but never got around to them. that was with PFS springs btw.

W/ Koni/Eibach, run them on the highest perch in front, and either the middle or lowest perch in rear.

Heres a pic I took today on the way to work. Konis set on the lowest perch and eibachs. The advise I got was to set the Konis high or on the middle perch however, I decided to go low and It has not been a problem. I run 17X9s on all four sides with 255s and no problem.

Eibach Pro Kit springs w stock shocks sets the FD at 25 inches in the front and 25.375 in the rear measured at the top of the wheel wells.

i highly recommend them as they give you 90% of what you get w coil overs ( proper ride height and 33% more spring rate which is just about right...)

i do run coil overs and run 25 inches at all four corners. my fenders are rolled as i run 18X 8.5 front and 18X 10 rear.

as you lower ride height, due to the RACECAR suspension on the FD you gain negative camber. when you lower your car past 25 inches you are unable to adjust the negative camber back to my preferred static setting ( neg 1.2 degrees).

low is fast but there is a point where you either make longer adj upper A arms or end up w crazy camber.

The Apexi setup is even stiffer. I have a buddy with that setup.

I'm pretty sure that the only thing softer than this set-up is stock. Are your Koni's on the softest setting?

I have 18's on my car but unfortunately the previous owner installed the struts and springs so I don't know how they were set up. All I know is that you will have to roll your fenders in the front. If you are getting a body shop to do it you might as well get them to roll the rears as well. But with the softness that I have it set for its a softer ride than my stock sti.

I run 18's on this set up, i have the front on low, rear on med. I no longer have the plastic in the well on the D/S, due to the tires eating it up, you will prolly have to roll the front fenders, gonna depend on the off set.

my set up: yellow konis/eibachs, BBS RS ll 18x8.5-215/40, 18x18-265/35

front well measures 24" rear 25.5", stock front lip 4"
