Rev gauge not working after engine install

Hi all I'm after abit of advice. The rev counter used to work fine with the blown engine. I have just put the new engine in and the rev gauge doesn't work. Now from searching I understand it runs off the trailing coil I have pulled a plug out and it sparks so that's working.

I do however have a black and red wire with a space connecter coming from the alt loom. I have matched this with another spade with black and red wire coming from under the throttle body

I also have a black T shaped plug around the back under the UIM does anyone know what this is for? It's near the trailing coil but can't see anywhere to plug it in.

Any help would be great
Thanks
Curt

Thanks for the help. For anyone with the same issue I had a yellow with blue stripe wire going to the ecu that was disconnected. Re connected it and it works!
