Rev Clock

Morning Gents,

My rev clock has taken a mind of its own lately jumping all over the place!! Any ideas. I also seem to have a problem removing the clock cluster from the dash. I found most of the screws and the clips at the rear of the cluster, however there seems to be something holding the cluster down just above the steering column.
Can anyone shed a light on this for me???
B.

Did you remove the two bolts under the steering column to allow it to drop down?

Well, it's not bolted into there, but the gauge cluster comes out towards the rear of the car. So, you'll need to drop the steering column to have room to pull it towards you.

Granted, you can do it without dropping the steering column, but it makes it so much easier.

As for the tach, it could be a loose connection, solder points broken/damaged.... You'll just have to take a look around.
