My seats are in dire need for a refurb, and I think i'm going to change up colors this time and get them made in Spirit R red.

I know a good place in town that can do the work, but he doesn't have the fabric i'm looking for.

I think Corbeau sells their seat fabric that is the closest I've found, but does anyone else know where I can buy red Recaro fabric please let me know

This may be a stupid question but did you contact recaro?

 

Recaro's standard red fabric is an exact match for the spirit-r red, as per someone on the forum who has refurbished these before.

Recaro won't sell you any parts directly, other than bolts of cloth.

Step 1: acquire fabric (it's NOT cheap apparently).
Step 2: find a good upholstery guy who can make you new seat covers.

You can also still order the parts directly from mazda japan but I believe it's like $1000 per seat.

I'm trying to remember the vendor - but I know someone (Ebay perhaps) is selling the Recaro RZ replacement skins. They're not cheap - but they're already fitted for these seats.

If I'm understanding how that would work properly, this seems like the most efficient method, but the cushions might have to be purchased seperately (ie they might not be included in the cover package.)
