retune for intake question
hello,i have a s7 rx7 with stock twins, pfc, dump pipe,hi flow cat,3inch exhaust that has been dynoed a while back and now i have installed a 600x260 front mount and pod filters,do i have to get it retuned for these or will it be safe to drive,i have been told it could lean out a bit, also if it has to be retuned should it take much to get it right without a large bill from the tuner, cheers.

Not trying to start a debate here but:
I don't see why he needs a retune if he controls the boost to maintain what he had in the past.
The ICs fuction is to cool air but it will never cool below ambient temps. So technically speaking the best IC in the world is a cool night. And we don't run seperate tunes for night vs day conditions where temperatures can vary anywhere from 25-40F (depends on where you live of course) so whats the difference? I don't see one.
Things to note:
ICs vary in efficiency and pressure drop. So by changing out your current one you may actually experience higher boost levels and that's a big fat no-no. The same goes for a CAI as you can experience spikes which is also bad. It's all about air vs fuel so like I said control your boost and you should be fine.
