Restrictor plate size?

Restrictor plate size?
Hey,
Basically...I'm running stock twins with a full exhaust. I have all the reliability mods & a PFC etc. Yes I know that my motor will blow if I boot it. I'm not boosting it. I cannot justify the cost of a cat for only a few months as I'm going single turbo in the very near future.
What I was thinking for a temporary fix:
Fitting a exhaust gasket/restrictor plate between the midpipe and the backbox (80mm exhaust).
My question is, will this create enough back pressure to allow me to boost my car? Also..What internal diameter should I use for the plate? The car over boosts to ~1.1bar in its current state, waaay to high. I would like to drop that to around 0.9bar. My thought was 70mm internal diameter.
Any advice/suggetions would be very much appreciated
Thanks!

Most exhaust piping (not catback) is typically 3" for the FD3S. Most people either use a 2.75" or 2.5" restrictor to control boost. So 70mm or 64mm. If you are going to make one, make both sizes and use whatever works. Start with the 70mm. If that doesn't work, then use the 64mm.
