report card after 2 years of ownership

bought the car 2 years ago. 100k. has 112k miles on it now.

the car has original engine, turbos, clutch.

replaced fuel pulsation right when i bought it.

only problems so far: had one small boost leak about a year into ownership. a couple of weeks ago a clutch hose needed to be replace. neither was expensive (except the tow).

so i've been pretty happy with the reliability issues - knock on wood.

only two years? feels like you've been around for longer than that.

congrats, my first FD had few problems too, drove it for two years and only had minor issues. (cracked flywheel, 3xxx RPM hesitation)

yup, only two years. does seem longer though.

pretty standard mods - radiator, intake, smic, dp, cb, ecu, coilovers, wheels.

1.5year of ownership, twice my vacuum hose from the vac chamber disconnected, leaving me without 2nd turbo. Once MAP sensor vac hose disconnected.

Other than that - knock knock

Basic performance and reliability mods, mostly running 10psi on the street. 5 trackdays so far.

How did you determine that it was a faulty solenoid and what was wrong with the car ?
