replacing shocks and spring ?

For those who went either eibach and koni or eibach and bilstein, did you use or replace the bottom cushion piece.

With my eibach and bilstein combo I just let the botton of the spring sit directly on the lower spring rest without the foam or rubber cushion. Is this going to cause any problems?

Any quick responses will be appreciated.

Thanks...Scott

the top in the front is pretty important. it is amazing how thick a new one looks if yours is old and squished. as for the bottom, it may squeek and the strut and spring will rub the paint off eachother and it masy rust. the bottom is like 10$
