Replace headlight / hood rubber flap for free

Hi guys, i searched but couldnt find this posted. nothing mission critical here but i thought id share. you know that little rubber flap attached to the hood that sits behind the headlight? well, the very first night i brought my FD home i popped the hood and broke mine i think it was the first thing i touched, it was all dry rotted and brittle. not a big deal but it made my car incomplete and i vowed to fix it. fast forward a few months after i had my 99 front bumper and lip installed... that rubber trim on the 99 lip was pealing(very common and most people remove) on both ends so i removed it and i was about to throw it out when i was like CHA CHING! its the perfect width/thickness as that rubber flap!!

i pealed the sticky tape off the lip trim, removed the one good flap i had, lined them up, cut to size, poked holes and installed 2 refreshed rubber flaps!

total cost of project $0.00

peace of mind knowing your car is as perfect and complete as you can make it...priceless
