Removing the rear Glass on the hatch

Is there a trick to remove the rear glass on the hatch? It's glued on I believe.

I bought a carbon fiber hatch and I'm trying to move the glass over the OEM to the CF one.

Thanks.

It is glued and also has 3 nuts holding it on. Remove the interior trim and you will see the nuts, then pull off the seal on the outside of the window. You should be able to cut the adhesive with a putty knife or razor then.

I called a window specialist and he said he can swap out the glass for $150. Should I just do it myself?

well, the issue with glass is, usually itll never seal as good as OEM... Personally, id shell out the 150 and have a professional do it, atleast itll be as good as it possibly can be that way.

^^ what he said, I pulled out my rear window seal as it was really old and when I had my new front screen put in after my repaint the guy removed and re fitted my rear screen with new rubber for only another $30 so all up it cost $180 front and rear fitted plus brand new better than oem rubber seal.
