Removing headlights
Is there a detailed how-to for removing the popup headlights from a FD?
Want to tackle that problem soon (exchanging one of the motors, as it's busted), but it looks pretty complicated tbh...

Press the “headlight-up” button next to your gauge cluster.
Remove the screws for the black plastic headlight bezel and carefully remove the bezel.
Loosen or remove the screws holding the painted headlight cover (two in front of the cover, two in back). You may want to manually rotate the headlight adjustment **** under the hood to better access the rear screws. CAREFULLY remove the painted headlight cover and put it someplace safe
You now have access to the back of the light.
Unclip the H4 harness wire from the bulbs in back of the stock headlight.
If removing just the lamp:
Unhook the spring from the lower corner of the headlamps. (See pic below #1)
Use pliers to CAREFULLY squeeze the black mounting tabs holding the headlight in, and push the black mount backwards. (See pic below)
Remove the entire stock lamp unit and set aside.

As an alternative, you can remove the whole assembly (lamp & mounting) by taking out the two side "hinge" bolts, and the bolt that connects the arm to the housing.

After you get the headlights popped up, disconnect the negative battery cable.
When you are done, and ready to reconnect the negative battery cable, make sure no one has their hands near the headlights. When the power goes back on they are likely self adjust if you have removed and reinstalled them.
