removing differential??
has anybody ever removed the diff themselves??? A local shop charges $240 just to remove it and put it back on, is that a good price or not?? What about installing heat treated axels??? Is this stuff I mentioned a piece a cake or not.

I dont know about heat treated axels, but removing the diff yourself is fairly easy to do. Ive done it a couple of times. you could do it by yourself but it would be a lot easier with 2 people.
