Removing alarm???

Car went off for 20 minutes at 8 am and having this never happen before I assumed it was someone else's car so I disregarded it, until I couldn't take it anymore, looked outside and realized it was my car!!!!! i'm pretty positive no one was trying to break in also, is there a way to disengage the alarm?

If you're talking about your factory alarm, there is a relay in the driver side footwell near the fusepanel that can be bypassed using a jumper.

It's been known to cause other electrical issues and is bypassed to help resolve the "click, click" starter issue. There's a thread in the archives that discusses this problem.
