After installing a remote power door locking system in my FD as a winter project I am now able to close the doors with a simply push of a button.
However when opening the doors with the remote (w/o the key in the door lock) the factory alarm is triggered and entertains the neighbours
Is there away to avoid the alarm trigger? Can I disarm the alarm?

 

Yes...you should have searched first. This subject has been covered a few times.

You either need to disable the factory alarm, or use a trick to send a "pulse" to the security system - that tricks it into thinking the doors were unlocked with the key.

my search terms didn't include alarm installation and spit out different threads, mainly Gen 2

thanks for this...will makes use of the alarm wiring table and figure out what the "pulse" is
