reliability question

not about the cars, this forum. i really needed help last night and couldnt get on the whole night. i know its not my connection cause i run DSL.(no pun intended, i love you guys) well here is my question. there is a vaccum hoses routing on the side of the intake manifold inbetween the firewall. from what i can see its called the pressure regualtor in the picture, but it just doesnt seem to be in the placement on my car. on my car its closer to the passanger side of the car(with the UIM off) and about a hand length down. can anyone second this. i will get pics if needed. i need to know where this connects to.
