Relay Box Question

So I'm trying to relocate my front harness and relays to the driver side bin. Instead of hacking up the harness on the car, i bought a spare and have started on that one, so once I'm done I can just unplug the one on the car and plug in the modified one.

I was looking at the harness on the car (94 R2) and saw the airpump relay, I don't have an airpump, so I was going to remove those wires.

I go over to the new harness, and am about to snip the airpump relay wires and notice that the relay box layout is different. Instead of one big air pump relay, there is a spot for 2 relays (I don't have the relay box cover for the spare harness so don't know what they could be for). Does anyone know about this?

On my 94 R2:

On the spare harness (i held up the cover from my car, if you look at the top you can see that there is only supposed to be 1 big relay for the air pump, but it seems to be wired for 2 smaller relays).

Any thoughts?

you sure the spare relay box is from an FD? No air pump anyway so that spot doesn't matter, right? lol

yeah, it's not just a spare relay box, it's the entire harness and everything else seems to match up.

Perhaps its from a Canadian model FD?

I know they have extra features like headlamp sprayers, daytime running lights, etc.

I would check the FSM for the other non-US models.

I just checked through the body wiring troubleshooting manual and didn't see anything. Any ideas on where I could find it?

on the spare...is it still 4 wires total for those two slots (2 wires each slot)? If it is, it may be just that the orginal relay for that spot was different...ie single relay but connections different cause it was not US spec.?

Tried looking for Canandian ref and cant find any.
