Refreshed battery harness and the mystery bracket

So the motor is out of the car and I decided to recondition the battery harness.Got it all done and now I have no idea where it goes or how the fuse box mounts with this mystery bracket. I bought the car with this stuff out already so I never got to see it from the factory. If anybody knows or even better has some good pics of how it goes and where the brackets mount that would be beautiful. Thanks guys.

I will try and get a picture of the right bracket. The one you have pictured goes to the powersteering bracket, cant remeber if it goes under or on top but I assure you it bolts to the same polace as the ps /ac bracket and is a place the battery harness clips to.

Chris, when you stop by the shop to check out your freshly built motor Ihor can point you in the right direction wrt to the fuse box and the orientation of that harness. Much easier to show you then to describe it here on the forum.

Also, that bracket is 100% not needed. Toss it in the trash, we remove it on every motor job we do.

Toss that pos bracket. It is supposed to help secure the battery harness and some of the cars have a ground bolted there, but all it does is get in the way accessing the spark plugs.
