Recirculation Valve Question

Hey guys, got a question for you. I'm looking into the petitt intercooler and intake and from what i get from it the intakes have straight hoses that will go directly to the turbos (silimar to stock design i guess), but as for the blow off valve, this can get replaced onto greddy elbow that leads out of the intercooler and into the combustion chamber. any ideas on what happend to the recirculation valve then with stock twins and aftermarket intakes, I've never seen anything about replacing the recirculation valve, only stuff about replacing the bov with an aftermarket one. anyone have any idea what happens to the recirculation valve when an aftermarket intake and an intercooler is put in?

A blow off valve releases the charged intercooler pipes into the atmosphere when given vacumn.
A by pass re-circulates the charged interooler pipes into the intake when given vacumn.

To have a by-pass valve, it would have to be fairly close to the intakes to be functional, so having one attached to the greddy elbow seems like the wrong approach.

I hope this answers what you were talking about.

hmm, well, yes and no.

basically what I'm looking for is if you look at a stock motor, there are two pplastic parts that look like identical bovs (light brown color), one on each hose feeding back into the intake. what I'm curious about is when you convert to an intake system with new hosing, I guess the bov itself should be attached to either the intake somewhere or the elbow leading into the engine (i see your point on putting it in at the intake side though, if it were to be put right on the elbow before the engine, might be too much of a loss in pressure). but i've only seen replacements for the bov valve itself (like going to a gredy bov or smething like this). now from what i understand, one of the plastic parts is the recirculation valve? what happens to this valve when you go to an aftermarket intake with new hosing? is the recirculation valve removed all together? or is it replaced with another one?

They get vented to atmosphere. DO NOT run it back into the charged air stream.
