Recently sold my 7 and got a bike

Hey guys, I recently sold my 94 VR to my brother, hes the real gear head in the family and I gave him a damn good deal on the car. I ended up buying a 2002 Yamaha YZF R6, I LOVE IT.

Everyone honestly needs to have a bike, its a great experience if you havent gone flying down the highway on one.

Im sad that I dont have my baby any more though =(

Maybe someday down the road I will return to the power of the wankle.

pease and cream cheeze

p.s. my car errr my bros car is going to be the **** pretty soon so all yall watch your backs..

Good to hear it went to an enthusiast.... And not someone sporting a Fast & Furious t-shirt...*We can hope!*

Glad you like the bike... They sure are fun..

Make sure You wear ear plugs at high speed. The wind noise at 265 km/hr is defining even with a good helmet. Take care on the bike and watch out for everyone near You on the road. I agree with You as it is a very different experience then a car.

I've got a 2003 CBR 600rr and I love that thing. It's so relaxing to just get on it and go. everything just seems to really come together when your on a street bike.

I got both 93 rx7 and 2002 GSXR 600 telefonica silghtly modded with exhaust and chip. A Bike is my way to get to work when the 7 is in the shop. that way i don't have to rely on nobody to take me to work. Here in florida you don't have to have insurance on a motorcycle if it's under $10,000 . i pay 180 month for the bike and that's it.

Amen to that. It was one of the reasons I sold my Ninja this year after 4 years of ownership. I lived through too many dead biker friends, and I keep on counting...

I have a 2003 R6 and to keep up with the R1 all I have
to do is put a gear on it.

I don't want to ever get seperated from either my bike or my REX!

Bikes are the ****....I have dropped mine ....but you can't possibly expect to buy a street bike and stay on it all the time. everyone is going to drop them, even the pros in ama do. it wasn't that scary when I did fall, you just don't have time to be afraid. your just really pissed off when you do.

How do you chip a GSXR? Do you mean PCIII? Oh, and wear a helmet all the time, rain or shine. Harley riders and stunters are the ricers of the bike world. Oh, like cars, bikes are only as fast as their particular quirks and riders. An R6 is great on a tight track, but will be eaten alive on a longer track. You also have to rev the **** off of em...

Man you should of waited till February for the 04' R1.

180hp @ 12,500rpm, 379lbs dry weight, 16-percent lighter crankshaft, 3-percent lighter forged pistons, and 9-percent lighter, 7.5mm shorter carburized connecting rods, titanium underseat exhaust, All-new aluminum Deltabox main frame rails pass over the engine instead of around it, resulting in a structure that's 200% more rigid vertically, 50-percent stiffer laterally, and 30-percent stiffer torsionally, overall frame width is reduced from 464 to 395.6mm, and new upgrades go on and on. Its gonna be a sweet bike. You can't beat the looks either. I'll be first in line to order mine in January. This bike is gonna be a good fitting bike for some of the smaller riders out there. Its gonna be sweet....

Yes Norton (in the 60's I believe) someone won the Isle of Man TT on it. Could be wrong on that though as well.

I know Suzuki built a rotary powered bike.
