i bought my 93 touring about a year and a half ago and it currently says it has 110k on it and its salvaged. i can tell that there has been some work done in the engine compartment because of small misc screws missing here and there(now fixed). when i bought the car the owner didnt know if the engine was rebuilt or not, he only had it for 6 months. just yesterday i raced my friend who has a rebulit motor, a boost controller and downpipe and i kept up with no problem. all i have is a greddy sp catback and a drop in k&n filter. i also know the turbos are not in great shape due to oil in the intercooler. could my motor be rebuilt?

 

It could be, but why worry about it? As long as whatever is in the car is working properly, just enjoy it.

 

if she's got 110k on her it's more than likely been rebuilt. Even if it isn't, as mahjik said, enjoy it.
