Rebuilt Motors (best place to buy one)

Well before everyone tells me to use the search.. i did.. It was useful to a point and then it got into some old vs. young argument crap...

So My question to you all is where is the best place. Money not being an option... i'll spend whatever. i would just like to have a spare motor laying around in my garage.

My car has 94,000 miles on it (93) and makes 8.6 compression... so i don't think it will go anytime soon.. i just like being ready!

Buy a core off of someone and send it to a good engine rebuilder. There's a sticky with a list of builders.

me too, I also want a spare core. Lots of info on rebuilders, but nowhere to get cores. They don't even return emails.

I have a core due to go back to Atkins Rotary they are going to give me $900 and pay shipping. I just purchased a new 13B-REW for about $2700 ported Clearanced and 3mm seals. So If you are interested in a good core make a offer over $900.
