Which rear wing did I have?
Hey all,
I just picked up my new project, a 93 FD (not even sure which model, to tell you the truth. Motor and trans are gone, but that's not really my concern right now. I've got a long way to go on this one, but it will get there eventually.
It used to have a rear wing, and I am trying to figure out which one, because I want another one on there when I'm done. I don't know if it was a factory one or an aftermarket. I am pretty much just trying to determine if I can install a replacement in the same holes, or if I need to have the holes filled and drill new ones corresponding to which wing I buy. There are plugs in the holes now.
Hopefully the pics show enough for someone to help me out. The front holes are 42 3/4 inches apart (center to center). The rear holes are 42 inches apart. There is an extra hole on the driver's side - I am guessing for wiring for a 3rd brake light, but I don't know this with any certainty. Thanks for any input!
