Rear trunk cover

Anyone know where I can find that rear hatch cover for the RX-7? Its that thing that hinges and hangs from the actual hatch so when you close the hatch it covers the trunk space to protect it from the sun kinda thing.

here? you mean rx-7 store. If it is then I missed it.

Mazda dealership- I was trying to get a trunk cover compatible with the bose. They only had one part type was it the bose or was it not? they couldn't tell me and I was not about to fork out $400+ in those conditions

i have a bose hatch cover and trunk carpet if you need it. i'll do a straight trade for the non-bose hatch cover and trunk carpet (black only)

I think that cover pretty much limits your cargo capacity to null. Unless you rarely put anything under the hatch, it won't close. If that's the case, then you don't need a hatch cover anyways. For privacy of your hatch area, I would get the windows tinted instead. Otherwise, just keep precious cargo in the storage bin or behind the seats to hide them. If you pull your stuff closer to the rear of the hatch, thief can't see them either.

Anyhow, if you want it, you should get one used. The non bose is rare and most have the bose cut out.
