Rear lense removal

Were in the FSM does it show you how to remove the rear lenses? I need to get them off and ive taken the 3 screws out of the top (to remove the little cover), but the lights will not slide out. What am i doing wrong? And yes I searched so you can just leave the 'use the search feature' comment out

just pull it out towards the sides of the car. Just give em a nice tap as you're pulling, they'll come out.... that's how I felt about them i didn't wanna break em.... but they are pretty sturdy and will the the abuse of sliding em in and out
