Rear LCA replacement
Just wondering if you guys know of any companies that sell aftermarket rear lower control arms by themselves for the FD?
Any experience with this? https://www.japspeed.co.uk/mazda-rx-...trol-arms.html
Also, is it a bushing that sits in the centre of the rear LCA where the trailing arm attaches to it? I can't seem to find any information about this particular part.
Thanks

Have no experience. But why would anyone would want aftermarket rear LCA's other than maybe the cool powder-coat and adjustability for slamming? And $500 Canadian?
A couple things I noticed...those are steel, the stock one is cast aluminum (lighter), and less unsprung weight. Also stock bushings have seals and grease around them to help with longevity. Have doubts those aftermarkets would last a year without developing slop.
And yes, it's a pillow-ball bushing for the trailing arm.

Always Bad Advice
Ya can't do this with stock arms!
The lower control arm is actually forged aluminum making it even lighter and stronger. Replacing the inner bushing with a Mazdacomp or uethane bushing is about the the only improvement you could make to the design, unless you're trying to significantly change the suspension geometry.
