Rear End Plate - plug question

hi everyone, on the rear end plate there are two connectors (i'm referring to water temp sensor plug and the oil pressure sender plug below it)... my question is... where in the harness do these attach to? i THINK that the water temp sensor would go from the main engine harness behind the engine and that the oil pressure sender would plug into the battery side harness (that runs along beside the gearbox) but does anyone know any different?

The water sensor to the gage wire is in the main harness and the wire color is yellow with a white stripe . The oil pressure wire IS in the battery side harness and the color is gray with a red stripe .
