They're a tight fit, so you have to muscle it on(although I dont know about ebay ones). Do you have any pictures of it?

one thin you have to take into account when buying ANY aftermarket peice is fitment, regardless of manufacturer and price. Considering the age of the FD a lot of cars that are used to guenia pig parts for fitment will not be in exact size to your car and others. thats the reason bumpers and other parts are bolt ons, they require sanding and a lot of eyeballing for perfect fitment. Altho taillights should always be the same size. before you try and muscle it in make sure your not overlooking something. getting fristrated just results in breaking parts and costing more money. walk away and take a breather.

im probably one of the only people who had a real one before there were replicas, it was also a tight fit. i thought i was going to break it but once it was on it was on. getting it off is where i did actually crack it.

I had to muscle mine on. Once it's on though, it's a bitch to get off. Hope you've removed the center lights

I had an ebay special set and they still fit better than that, that is really unacceptable unless these are the most pliable taillight covers I have ever seen you are probably going to have to cut them up fit them and fix them back into one piece.

Well its not 800 more like mid 4's it is the shipping that kills it. Personally I think mid 4's for something that fits perfect would be worth it.

i've bought plenty of parts off ebay. body, electronic, mechanical, etc.

hell, i've bought 2 FD's off ebay.

just because something is sold on ebay doesn't mean it's junk. there are a lot of good deals on ebay, you just have to know what to bid on, and what not to bid on...
