re-installed instr. cluster and have 1 light bulb left over....

Ok, after putting my gauge cluster back in my car I found 2 problems, the first is I had 1 small light bulb that I could not find a home for, the 2nd problem is my odometer does not display numbers any more. Does this bulb attach to the back of the odometer? Its dark outside so I cant work tonite, but Im going to work on it tomorrow and was hoping someone can tell me what that bulb is for. Thanks !

Good chance that the loose bulb is the one that lights the ring around the cigarette lighter. It's a single bulb that plugs in to a hole that's hard to see; kind of hidden behind the cigarette lighter body. Plugs in and then locks in place with a slight twists; maybe an 1/8th of a turn.

I've had my instrument cluster out several times, and each time the trip odometer looses its mileage value, but I never had any problem with the main odometer. I'd suggest taking cluster loose again and checking the other connectors; particularly those behind the speedometer. I also used a spray contact cleaner as added insurance.
