Question Re: Help Needed - RX-7 vs. Supra TT vs. others

I am looking to buy a car a was wondering which would be my best option? i am 19, in college, so some of the payment will come in the form of loans paid per month. i was wondering what my best option is in terms of a car, and also if a Supra TT is worth the extra money, or if the RX-7 is equal or better. any advice would help. also, where the best places would be to find a used RX-7. all i know of is autotrader and other websites. any advice would help, thanks

I think a Supra NA is the most suitable for you

Which is better is a very general question. It all depends on better in what way. It's like asking what's better, a Rx-7 or 626. Well it depends on what you will be using it for and what type of a person you are. Rx-7s require attention to detail and a love of keeping things in working order. The Supra is simple to take care of compared to the Rx-7. This aside the Supra is better in the 1/4 but the Rx-7 is better overall. It's lighter and handles much better on a "real" track. Supra owners will tell you differently but so far I haven't seen many of them put their money where their mouth is and when they do... well lets just say SCC g-force challenge. The Supra is a great car but it's no Rx-7.

If you are just looking for a good looking car without much hassels get the nonturbo supra. If you want to learn a whole lot about a hella car get the 7. If you want to drag race without breaking everything get the turbo supra.

I've gotten quite a few females in my time in my ride... but I have yet to turn 19... hmm, depends on what angles your looking at. The FD's pretty reliable as long as when you get it the miles are down and the fluids were regularly changed, along w/ the fact you might want to keep it stock untill you have some $ to spare.
