How does the shifter kit compare to the Mazdaspeed short shifter? Also are there any installation issues, as I might buy one off of a fellow forum member. Any responses would be appreciated.

 

I have no experience with this kit, but all I can say is drive a car with the short shifter you want before buying it. I wanted a Mazdaspeed short shifter after SCC raved about it. I drove a car with one though, and just didn't like it all. A few months ago I drove ShawnK's car with the B&M, and it was MUCH better. BUT, having driven both set-ups, I prefer stock. Just an example of how some mods are not for everyone.
